Was talking to a guy in the industry and he said hey have you had any problems with the gx550? I said no and he said well the tundra has the same engine and has had major issues. Have their been any gx550 engine failures with those same issues?

our brakes squeak and its been a couple months and lexus told us they only get one replacement set a month. So thats been annoying, the squeak is LOUD! Love the way it drives, and HUD. Seats are ok but our 2011 sequioa had more cushion, these seem flatter in comparison.

we came from 2021 tahoe to premium+ GX550, we didnt need the size anymore. I drive a hardtop 4 door bronco with 34" tires and my wife drives the gx550. I love the GX, we have added aftermarket wheels/tires (18x9 +20 offset wheels with 275/70r18) to give it a wider stance and not the factory...

Bronco has IFS in front which drives better on the road which is what I use it for lol

Thanks I agree. I rarely keep SUV’s/trucks with stock wheels and tires. I like a little bit of a wider “stance”, outside the wheel well. Nothing stupid but something that isn’t factory.

Not quite all the 4wd/differential offerings of the bronco badlands I have but the gx550 is miles ahead in quietness, steering, driving experience.

I’ve ordered 275/70r18 to go on 18x9 +20 wheels. It won’t be as dramatic as 35’s

I’ve never recalibrated one on any car. You accrue miles at a lower rate on the odometer and being 3mph off at 70mph never worried me

This has +18 wheel offset on smaller 275/70r18 and has more poke

nice, whats odd is the one above has smaller tires than yours with the same offset pretty much +18 vs +20, and has significantly more poke
