Interesting that the molybdenum levels were high in your sample. While I assume that they are using the same oil from Lexus/Toyota, they may have used another oil which could explain the difference as moly is used in oils to reduce friction and increase fuel economy. You can get the same weight...

I changed my oil just prior to the 1000 mile mark and sent in a sample to Blackstone. Happy to share when the results are available, expected in the next week or so.

I did the exact same thing as I know it costs $2K+ to replace with OEM glass and with the near vertical rake the likelihood of a rock chip breaking the glass over the next 4-5 years was high enough to justify the warranty.

You may be able to use some rubbing compound to take a good amount of that scuffing out of the paint. Up close you can really see how much orange peel is in a factory paint finish.

Fair callout, maybe not. Most owners will not likely use the hitch much if at all. At a minimum, Lexus needs to offer an option to remove the hideous malignancy on the back bumper for those that won't routinely use their GX tow.

Here's a snapshot of a GX in the Philippines with a much better valance cover for the trailer hitch. Why this was not standard in the US is beyond me. What Lexus gave us stateside is an aesthetic nightmare.
