I'm not sure if anyone has done it, but if I was starting from scratch I'd recommend chasing down the part numbers for both and seeing if they are the same. Lexus and Toyota use the same part numbers for parts used on both vehicles.
You are correct. You do not want PT970-60245 which is the part number for Overtrail model cross bars. I'd recommend checking the GX Marketplace Forum on this page or FB Marketplace, people take these off all the time and sell them cheap. I gave mine away for free, I had no use for them. Good luck!
It seems like people are selling these all the time off their OT's or LandCruisers. I wouldn't suggest ordering from AUS unless you have to. Nothing against the country, just too much $ for shipping. Recommend checking the LC Forum for posts like this. There are quite a few of them.

Yes, this video is helpful. About a 5 minute installation. Note: The Lexus kit does include matching rear door sills as well, although they are not shown in the parts drawing and they do not illuminate.
Hi @Roman, I recently bought illuminated sills for my Prem+. There was a sale (can't remember the % off, maybe 20%?) plus free shipping for over $100. Here are the order details if you need the part #:

This may help you with tires once you determine your rims. Someone on the LandCruiser Forum created this awesome spreadsheet that has consolidated data on tire size, weight, rub by rim size.
