Putting aside any immediate safety concerns (engine grenades on busy highway), I would wait at least as long as I found comfort that the replacement engine is not just the same likely-to-grenade again engine. Note that Tundra replacement engines have failed yet again according to the internet.

A/C is adequate at best. Front and rear. I've been back in my GM truck for the last few days and it is night and day difference. Even the electric car with a whole glass roof does better. I think it is a combo of the system cooling power and the vents. Heck, even the Hyundai cools better.
That is great to hear. I tried buying one off the lot from that dealer back in March but they wanted additional $5k for interior/exterior spray on protection and another $5k for PPF. Wouldn't sell it any other way. Maybe they figured I was desperate as I was calling from out of state.
