2024 GX550 Lux+ having the same issue. There is a damp/moldy smell emanating from somewhere. The GX is impeccably clean/maintained so it is not a 'user error' situation. At one point I thought it might be coming from the AC/Climate system. Are you able to confirm the scent is from the door...
Moving on from unresolved climate seat / climate control issues and now joining this thread for unexpected engine noises. 10mos and 10k miles. Two sounds are emanating. One from what may be the exhaust system sounds like a tinny rattle and the other a grumble/garble felt behind the engine...
I commented on this very thing several weeks ago. No one at Lexus will actually admit to a 'flaw' and unfortunately to this point they are not interested in providing a solution.
Overall the GX550 is a BEAST. I love it. But I am massively disappointed with the heated seat issue. I never...
Yes. Experiencing the same squeak in reverse and very low speed in Drive (think garage entry). I am at 6mos/6k miles. No mention of a problem at my 5k mile service check.
I have heard (no proof) GX550 models with the massage seat option are having the most issues with heated/cooled seat performance. The massage mechanism overlays the heat/cool delivery system. Design flaw/poor planning.
Any GX550 owners without the massage option having issues with their...
I have the same heat vent issue in my GX550.
Remedy: Turn the temperature down before you shut the unit off. The unit, while 'turned off' will vent at a lower temperature.
I asked local dealer if service bulletins exist for climate control issues or heated seat issues. No joy there...
Luxury + owner since June. Recently discovered (fall/winter) Front heated seats barely warm up. Thinking back to summer I was unimpressed with the 'cooling' feature as well. I never had cooled seats so I don't have a comp. Lex dealer admitted to 'hearing of issues' but no solution was...
2024 GX550 Lux+.
Heated (and likely cooled) front seats are weak at best.
The 5k service visit yielded an unexpected conclusion: seats are operating as designed producing 80 degree heat. That sounds a bit like 'it is what it is'. And, 80 degrees?
Can I expect Lexus to provide a...
