I find it extremely annoying. Can't hardly stand behind the car with the tailgate open without it trying to crush me by coming down. I need to disable it. Just need to figure out how to do that.

Have exactly the same issue on my '25 with less than 5000 miles. Am taking it in next week for first service and, armed with the above, I am pretty darn sure it wasn't anything I am doing as I get out. Must be something with the rubber sticking out too much. Thanks!

Yep, same here. '25 Premium +, after sitting overnight and after a rain. Started around 1000miles, now at 3K. Not a big issue but have to admit it is embarrassing when backing out my driveway.
