Your suspension setup remains unchanged with portals so it rides just as good as it did before the installation. The can be slight whir from the front left portal but it's intermittent. Not as loud as the 38" Nitto MT's.
This build is almost complete. I've run trails all over AZ and Moab and the only thing missing is a front locker. Hopefully ARB will offer one soon. In a couple of weeks I'm headed to Cali to run the Rubicon Trail with some friends. Can't wait to see how it does there.
Seems like a lot of expense for the unlikely event that if your phone dies. Especially when you can turn on the lights manually at the PowerSwitch until you have power back in your phone.
I have the King Suspension kit with Total Chaos UCA's. I upgraded from the Westcott collar lift. I'm running Toyo Open Country AT III 35" tires and love the setup.
I agree. Most people that want a lift are going to want more than 1 inch. I put a king Racing Shocks 2 1/2 inch lift on my OT. I also put a heavier spring set in the rear. I would hate to pay all that extra money for a 1 inch lift only to replace it with a far more functional off-road lift like...
