A Toyo Open Country EV 275/70/18 tire on the stock wheel will fit in the spare tire space under the GX. That’s what I’m running now.

I’m a fisherman too and saw a 2 fly rod case at the Overland Show last month. It’s made by midnight forest and is half as long as other cases. I don’t have the link so you’ll have to look up there website. They are based in Utah.

The OEM rack is noisy especially at freeway speeds. It will have to do for now.

Forgot to mention it’s the EV one.

I just got the Toyo open country AT 3 in 275/70/18. I have a 2024 OT + and this one size up increase looks great. Ride is smooth and quiet for an off-road tire. Now it’s a true 33 inch tire.

Hiker Neil, I had the running boards removed and replaced them with the OEM rock rails. If you don’t get a trade, I can sell you mine. They are in good condition. I’m in Orange County, CA

Love the Sierras. Last year took the GX to Monache Meadows and caught golden trout. The GX performed perfectly.

Hi Bob I am considering purchasing the same vossen hf 6-4 18x8.5 +35 offset in gunmetal with 275/70/18 nitto grappler g3 tires. I have a stock 24 Overtrail plus. Does your set up have any rubbing issues and is it pretty flush that it doesn’t kick up a lot of rock chips to scratch the paint?

I have the Milwaukee M18 too and agree with the others. I had a Viar that connected to the battery that was not as convenient. Home Depot had specials on the Milwaukee where I got one battery free. Maybe they still offer it.

I still have the OEM rack and someday may replace it. It’s not the white sands of Hapuna Beach, but here is mine with the OEM rack in the desert sand of Anza Borrego.
