Running the 93 tune for a month or so. Big difference in get up and go, smooth shifting and probably at least a 2 mpg increase. Very happy and would do it again in a second!
Proactive Driving Assist uses the vehicle's forward-facing camera and radar to monitor the roadway and detect obstacles or curves ahead. The system then reacts to a potentially hazardous situation by providing gentle braking and light steering inputs to keep the vehicle under control. Toyota...
You have auto breaking or whatever it is called on. There is a switch on the screen. My lexus tech showed it to me, turned it off, and said everyone complains about it. It actually is pretty smart but it senses when you should be stopping and breaks. I bet most of the people bitching about...
I had a little pic that I used to lift the tab up with, then bent it over with a flat head screwdriver. I used a bigger flat head to lever the white clip out of the hole it is inserted into. Damn hole is pretty freaking tight for my hands.
Yes, they emailed me and were amazing. Went way above and beyond working with me to get it working great. I went with the 93 tune, which after a little research is the most common high test around here. I haven't driven it enough to really see what I am getting for mileage, initially it...
The one I have is completely wrapped with tape, so you can't see the wires. I wouldn't know if they are damaged or not unless I pulled it apart, which would be a big pain in the ass. I probably would do it if Bill hadn't had the exact same can't read thing when he did it.

Rereading everything this morning, even though my original instructions say to read and save the ecu and the person I spoke with on the phone said I should, it looks like the guide on their site now says it isn't necessary.

Like Bill, when I went to Read the Ecu the system crashed. THe car still worked but I had to go back in and clear codes. Clearing codes is now slightly different that what Bill did, per VF

I asked because BIll was told not to bother when his system crashed trying to read then save the ecu file. He was told it didn't need to be done. I would be happy skipping that step if it isn't required, especially if it can crash, like Bill's did. From the previous response it sounds as if...
Continuing with VFT's 2-part email, still on part 1:
This ECU can be read. Please redo the ECU Identification process, and then the "ECU Read" button should be available.
After the read process, there will be a window that will pop-up asking you to name the file and save to a folder in your...
