A 500 mile break in period before towing is required according to my 2025 OT manual. My trailer weighs about 5,000 and I was able to log
1,100 miles before the first tow.
When I took deliver of my OT last April I remember there being a sticker or notice (long gone) on the air compressor panel that said the max combined amps for the 12V AND USBc was 6 volts. Whatever it was it made a big enough impression that I printed a sticker for the panel face saying 6amps...
Running KO3 Load Range E in stock size 265. 15,000 miles and all good. Like the "E" rating since I drop PSI for beach travel and rocky off road. Usually down to 18-20 PSI. Have used similar tire (KO2) for 15 years on my 4Runner. They lasted 55,000 miles on last three sets,
I also plan to add a J style carrier but would like to haul 2 kayaks. Will be attaching to a Prinsu Pro rack. I have SOT fishing kayaks and the beam is pretty wide so doesn't allow lying them flat. Hopefully area where kayak narrows won't be too much for a J carrier. I'm looking at the Malone...
When did you take delivery on your rack? I bought mine this past summer and the side rails are joined by the 2 tabs design as shown in the OP pics. Not like yours. I think the tab method of joining the side rails is sketchy as hell but I've got 6,000 miles with mine on the roof with no issues...
Yep, that's it. Especially in first 10 seconds of video. If it's "normal" why isn't it happening on all GX550's? The pitch and volume can be annoying as hell.
Just by chance the whine occurred today in my 2025 OT. Have heard it before a couple times but since I drive with the music turned way up it's probably drowned out. Heard it today when my Car Play got messed up and cabin was quiet. On interstate going 66 mph@ 2,000 rpm. pitch and loudness...
Don't go out of your way. I was interested in buying the SQHD brackets but re-using the existing cowls. Did the clips break when you removed the them? Although I see you used the SQHD cowls so careful removal of the OEM ones probably didn't matter.
