My understanding is that the EKDSS is only a connect/disconnect control and the on road benefit comes its the beefier sway bar. The suspension adjustment all comes from the AVS. Let me know if my understanding is wrong.
I tried mine and no it essentially won't engage in most city driving situation unless going uphill or very abrupt acceleration. It seems the engine has enough low end torque to handle most low speed driving.
The idling vibration was actually the first thing I felt when first timing sitting in the car. The service guy said it is normal. I have to say the engine is smooth during accelerating. The vibration seems coming from transmission or some other component. Anyway, not as smooth, but I can live...
Unfortunately, I never experienced ML system before. I did drive other vehicle with upgraded sound system before and I guess I put more weight on the clarity than punchy bass. Therefore, when I initially listened to the ML system in the GX550, I was impressed by its clarity and found the bass...
Just wondering, what is the volume level you were at? I saw people said they started to experience bass cutoff when volume level was set at 40. On my 25 OT+, I can only set my volume max at 30 or lower because at 40 as I tried once, it literally could blow my ears up. Thus, I am not sure the...

Concrete pavement is harder than asphalt pavement. The asphalt can provide better cushion than concrete. Thus, even if both types of pavements are perfectly even and smooth, driving on the concrete pavement will still feel a bit more bumpy than asphalt pavement.
In terms of GX, I doubt the tire...
Here is my experience. I took delivery of a GX550 OT+ in the end of April. Never test drive before, the moment I drove out of the dealer's lot, I could immediately feel the so called "jittering". This feeling comes and goes and I started to pay attention to the conditions I drove. I noticed it...
That is been said. One thing worth mentioning is that many people drive unibody vehicle for their entire life. When switching to a body-on-frame vehicle, many people will feel the driving dynamic is "off". Reality is, truck drives differently from a car. Simple as that.
