Thanks for posting the photos. I have the same Gx Overtrail color combo with the OEM rack. The wind noise from the Overtrail roof rack has not bothered me, so I never considered a roof rack change, but after seeing these photos...... I might reconsider. It looks great. Congrats!
I just filled up and drove home, showing 214 mi of range. The gas station is ~1 mile from my house.
I have 2,466 miles on it, but 98% of my driving thus far has been around my town, so there are many quick stops and go. I am taking it down to Santa Barbara tomorrow, the first road trip with...
You could be right here. I average 12.2 MPG. I don't bother to fill up until I have 0 miles left, and the refuel image comes on, and I tend to fill ~16 to 17 gallons.
Since there are ~4 gallons left when you hit empty, I regularly wait to fill up until I hit 0 miles. Even with that, I still only fill up ~16/17 gallons, and the tank size is 21 gallons. This has been an adjustment for me, but I am used to it now.
Do you have the digital key set up? I had a similar experience after setting up the digital key with my iPhone. After removing the digital key, the issue went away. I have an iPhone 13 Pro
I am with you. I am at 541 miles, mostly city driving, and at an average of 12.7 MPG. At first, I thought the computer was wrong for showing ~280 miles at a full tank. Unfortunately, it's starting to feel accurate (12.7 x 21 = 266)
I took delivery of my overtrail with all tires at 46 psi and the spare at 52 psi. The overtrail door jam recommends 35 psi, so I lowered my tires to 36 psi (a 22% reduction) and it's made a big difference.
I noticed the high psi, too. I have an overtrail; the door jam says 35, and mine are at 46-48, with the spare over 50. I will be adjusting them soon. In the vehicle settings, I did see the option to reset TPMS, so it should not be an issue.
I can feel the off-road tires at times based on the road conditions with my Overtrail+, but I would not call it a vibration.
We have private roads in and around my home, most are not maintained well, so I can feel the off-road tires then. However, when on smooth roads/the highway, I do not...
