BTW, car feels perfectly smooth driving, and there is not vibration or movement in the steering wheel, so the vibration the tires are creating is extremely subtle, yet unbearable noise.
So, an update on this noise. As my tires have worn out, and worn unevenly, the noise has gotten much worse. Video attached. So, I went in for my 20k service and played the video. Later I rec’d a call from the service tech saying the edges of my tires were scalloped and that was causing the...
So, had the first oil change at 10k miles, after the initial tire rotation at 5k. Now my OT+ is telling me it requires service at just over 15k. I thought that was curious, so I googled and was told it was an oil/filter change. Not sure I understand. It was not important to change it after the...
Had the tranny reset recently after repeated clunking. Had a hard time talking the service manager into it. He was determined to convince me there was nothing wrong. He asked me if both my wife and I drive the vehicle, suggesting the transmission would be trying to “learn” two drivers in that...
Anyone else catching a higher-pitched vibration type noise from the steering column. Have 15k miles on my 24 OT+ now and I’ve developed this new vibration/noise from that area. Super annoying with no stereo playing.
You misunderstood my comment. I was saying the blue high beams indicator on the dash is hard to see because it’s not bright and tucked down low and right on the instrument panel. So, I would get flashed by someone and realize the high beams were on because the indicator is hard to see until you...
And speaking of “hard to see indicators” took a while before I could regularly see the high beams indicator on the dash which is tucked down low on the right side. Blinded a few folks before I got used to it. I can’t stand auto high beams.
Range is awful, but there is a warning light. Not sure how many miles of range are left on mine when it appears, but it’s an orange fuel can/pump I believe. Get ready to see it often because we are always out of gas.
So, today, I noticed that when my GX tells me it is time for my 10,000 mile service, it notes the distance to service in KM instead of Miles. Yet, the number of KM to go is what it should be (or almost) in miles. Strange. See pic showing 9506 miles on the odometer and the warning showing 490km...
Have about 8k miles now, and I have noticed both of these issues. Definitely have intermittent what I would call hard downshifts, so I’ll try the tranny reset. Also, sluggish shifts first thing. I really try to let it warm up, and also drive it in sport mode and both seem to help. As one person...
