Love the look. Do they feel sturdy? I feel like the GX running boards are very flimsy. Especially in cold weather, they crackle and flex... Are those the base standard LC boards? I will look into this myself. Also, wonder how they align with the OEM mudguards in the front...

They are using Valvoline full synthetic and OEM filter.

I always do the service myself but its too cold and nasty outside at the moment... Went to the dealer to get the camera recall done and noticed they had a 3 for 2 sale. Basically 3 synthetic and filer changes for the price of 2 totaling $215 for all including taxes AND can be taken within 2...

Thanks for the write-up. All very good points and exactly what was happening to me that my old wheels were in the garage and the car was sensing them initially... I took my GX to the dealer and they could not locate or connect to the sensors that are (technically) supposed to be in the OEM OT...

Very interesting! I would have expected Lexus to take care of this when they so called resolved the issue with the update... What kind of grease did you use for the U-joints & Drive shaft?

The jolt is minor but still happens from time to time... What I notice sometimes is a jolt when accelerating and suddenly braking such as examples of sudden stops in traffic.

This is exactly what I still experience after the update. Only the first cold shift after backing out of my driveway and it moves from 1st to 2nd. I have learned to live with it but wish it was addressed with the TCM update.
