Okay I went in for a 1 year service and now the fuse tap that was running my camera in parking mode suddenly doesn't provide power after the car is turned off and there are times when I put the car into Drive or Reverse and it doesn't move until I hit the accelerator - feels so off... anyone...
Messaged my dealer about it, their response: "...The ECU on some of the units are requiring a technology update. It’s a communication delay in the software system on some of the GX models. It’s a simple remedy, but the issues you are indicating are exactly what the symptoms are. Let me know...
Looks awesome! So what's the final verdict on this "sensor behind the emblem" that we can't interfere with that I've seen mentioned here and there? Myth?
Let me know if you have parking mode configured. I have been messing with mine more and am not convinced it goes into a separate mode when I turn off the vehicle.
Seems fine. I haven't done much with it. I was planning on downloading some video today. And yes, hardwired. The installer was impressed with the quality.
Jrox, you stated you wanted to mod the Toyos to 275, I think it's important you specify all dimensions. I started with the P+ trim and 20" wheels. You're likely starting with 33" Toyos already. I can't answer questions as to mods to take an Overtrail to 35", but maybe others in this thread can.
I didn't have the stock on for very long at all but I would say it's as quiet or quieter. These end up being pretty close to 33", actually bigger than the stock OT tires. I haven't fitted a matching spare yet 😔, but I'm pretty sure it would fit if the OT tires would fit.
