I completely agree with you! I was actually going to post about this as well. For a 1450.00 upgrade it’s terrible!!! I have the overland + and it’s disappointing at best.
Thanks! I didn’t do that because they were all closed Sunday and when I spoke to the tech at Lexus he said 99% of the time it’s the gas cap. I’m going to keep driving it and let it complete more cycles and if it doesn’t clear I’ll go that route next. Thanks!
thanks! The technician told me to fill it to halfway and no more. I didn’t ask why but have roughly 200 miles until empty. I’ve cycled through the process 4 times today. Hoping by Thursday this reverses. I’ll keep everyone posted.
I spoke to the service department and the technician said even if I tightened the gas cap it takes a lot of cycles starting stopping and cooling down to get the lights to turn off. So I’m hoping the gas cap was the issue. I’ll keep everyone posted but thanks again for that advice!
It drove perfectly fine and sounded normal. Nothing seemed off. I thought maybe it was an o2 sensor? I parked the car and will call the dealership tomorrow am.
Update: The issue was an ac filter not being closed properly on the passenger side filter. The dealership had checked my ac flow during the 5k maintenance service but had not secured the filter properly causing air to get in and trip my check engine light and multiple other warning lights...
I did too until i drove it more. Now my mileage shows 306 when I fill up and then I know I have additional miles left in the reserve that doesn’t get calculated. It’s like the car had to learn more driving habits etc. Maybe it’s the same for you?
So with the threaded pin the more you tighten it the actual hitch has tabs internally that tighten on the inside of the receiver so you have to have a threaded pin to activate this system. So nothing but an actual longer version of what came with the rack will work and they don’t make them nor...
Yes it doesn’t fit. Ive tried that and called Kuat as well as went to a bike shop. The shop opened a new rack to see if the pin would fit and nope it’s all new so nothing fits. My rack is probably 5 years old. The answer is to either do what I’m doing or buy a new bike rack. I’ll just live...
Thank you! As soon as someone posted it hits 0 miles left to “ reserve” that made sense. I was filling up at 50 miles or so and it only took 11-12 gallons. I’ll just push it to 0 miles left or further before stopping. I was really tired of getting gas so often. Thanks for your reply!
