I run the westcott kit with a 17x8.5 et35 and a 35x12.5 tyre, had to do very minor trimming on the inside lower edge of the bumper, 10mm or so. Otherwise you could go the next size down, like a 305/70 r17 (if running 17's).

The DRCC in the GX certainly isn't the best. I was very annoyed with it until I worked out that you can change the settings in the menu, now I have it set so the acceleration is at max (quickest possible) and turned off the curve speed reduction. It's a little better now and doesn't drop...
