After three weeks the dealer gave up on it. Said they could make it ride a little better, but the chatter was still too noticeable to be acceptable. They gave me a trade in on a Sequoia that rides 1000 times nicer. Here’s the VIN for my GX that they couldn’t fix.

Our hills in Pittsburgh are why you’ll be seeing 13.5-15 mpg. The GX crushes fuel up hill and you just can’t coast enough downhill in these parts to offset it.

The ML is crisp and clear, but it is tuned for people who listen to Kenny G and Barbara Streisand. The lack of an independent subwoofer controller is the main culprit here. As an $1,800 additional charge, I think it’s highway robbery…. unless your Michael Buble Spotify channel is locked in.
