    5k Service

I change my oil at shorter intervals that Lexus recommends. Every 3 -5k. Fun fact 1: If all you're doing is an oil change you can goto a Toyota dealership and get your oil changed for a bit less. An oil change at my local Toyota dealership is $80 vs. $130 at Lexus. Lexus does wash it though...

Anyone got a list of Lexus Personalized Settings that can be programmed by a dealer at 5K

The only dealer only option I've had disabled is the fake engine noise in Sport and Sport+. Sooooooo much better with the natural sound of the engine. Music also sounds better since the speakers aren't playing the synthetic engine track.

VF Tuner ECU/TCU Tuning for the GX550

@VF Tuner I'm running the 93 octane OTS tune with TCU mapping. What gains, if any would I see by finding a pro tuner in the Atlanta area?

VF Tuner ECU/TCU Tuning for the GX550

I've been running mine for over 7k miles. No issues at all. Fuel economy is better and power is effortless. Have been to the dealership for oil changes and rotations and no issues.

    Sneakers for my pavement princess

I just switched from the tires my Overtrail+ came with to the Michelin Defender LTX M/S2. Night and day difference in ride smoothness and road noise. It's not even in the same universe. The GX550 now rides like a Lexus should. I don't do heavy off-roading so they're more than adequate for my...

Yep. Moved over to VF Tuner. I still have the JB4 though. It's available if someone wants it. Comes with the Bluetooth module $300 shipped.

Yes. You can clear the codes using the Diagnostic tool in the VF Tuner software.

You hold the plug in place using a trim removal tool that slides between the plug and the white clip. You'd then use the flat head screw driver to depress the locking tab. It will then slide apart. These are the tools.

Oh lord. No. Don't use pliers. You'll want a small tip long screwdriver to depress the locking tab. It will slide apart pretty easily then if you take that approach.

Still all works the same. Just more power and better shifting.
