Others can answer your “without modifying” question. Your situation is different from mine.
(I have a 2024 with a lift kit, and am running a ‘shy’ 34” tire, 285/70/18 with a +25 offset wheel. The tire measures at 33.7 diameter..without need for any trimming or rubbing.)

For my spare I’m using a ‘tall’ 275/70/18 tire fully inflated, which also measures 33.7 diameter, and it fully fits up into the spare location. It’s extremely tight, it touches all 3 or 4 seating tabs; but it is fully seated with no space, zero, remaining.

So, maybe.. you can squeeze your 285/75/18 of choice up there uninflated, without any real issue re-inflating by yourself if ever required. I think someone else on this forum has stated that. The KO3 you mention is stated as a 34.8” diameter.
Others here with more experience can weigh in.
I also don’t know if the 2025 spare tire space is exactly the same dimensions as my 2024?

Ive been trying to see what I can do to have my spare match, I think I like your idea of just getting a narrow and tall spare, and keeping it for spare, rather than trying to make a larger tire fit and keep the spare into the tire rotation.
 
Right. I’ve never been fond of the ‘5 tire rotation’ method. Pros and cons I guess. I just know that, for this vehicle, I want a rugged, capable and new spare on hand that I can totally rely on; be it off-road or towing.

And to be clear for anyone not previously following this: I COULD have used a 5th Toyo AT3 285/70R18 E as the spare (mounted on the OE rim) since it’s 33.7. However, I would have lost more ground clearance (from my new suspension lift). So I was lucky to find, and opted for, the Cooper spare also at 33.7 E rated but which has a narrower section width so it doesn’t protrude down as much. And..IMO, because it is narrower mounted on the OE 7.5” rim it will be more reliably safe if needed while towing. 😊
