'24 to '25 Post Spring Upgrade Install - Road Feel? (1 Viewer)

Not trying to reboil the ocean - and rehash multiple other threads threads. For those that have upgraded their '24 to '25 springs have you noticed any difference in handling, road feel or body roll?

Was watching this popular youtube show and he mentioned feeling much taller and tippy in the '25 model? He's been very impressed by the off road driving and noticed the improvements in the '25 model - but hope he was not over reacting to the feel.

I had a24 OT*,and now a25 OT+ can’t say how the others ride but the 25 drives or more stable in strong winds

Loved the 24 25 gave me what I wanted in the 24 that was unavailable at the time 25 appears better or more stable in strong wind that I wasn’t expecting that but a good thing with the 1” lift it was unexpected

Watched both videos over the wknd and was shocked to hear it. Was actually considering upgrading to a ‘25 model but now I’m thinking no (since I don’t off-road the vehicle atm). Also my garage opening is only 7’ so don’t want to push it

I have a 2024 over trail + with 5k miles and put 2025 front coil springs on my vehicle. My experience so far is you feel like you’re in sport mode when you’re a normal mode. just a little stiffer and a little less roll in the turns and less front pitch. I decided to just put front coils on to level out the vehicle instead of a lift kit. I completely disagree with what the gentleman states in the videos.

So, I have a '25 Luxury+, but I swapped my stock rims for the OT rims. I noticed a pretty severe ride after the swap. I went to a shop and had them road force balance the tires, and it has been a pretty smooth ride ever since. I believe the Luxury trims offer a "comfort" drive setting as well (maybe they all do?), but I have just stuck with the normal setting.

My car is a '25, so I assume the '25 already has said springs? Although, I am in a Luxury trim, so I didn't get the lift that comes in the OT.

I did. The spring install, along with getting it aligned afterwards. Aside from it, looking noticeably taller (which is crazy with just 1-in difference) there is no real noticeable drive feeling whatsoever. My wife also cannot tell the difference aside from her saying that it feels a little taller getting in and exiting.

FYI, I was advised that a recalibration would be required for the vehicle after installing the lift. I did not need to get it calibrated, all systems function perfectly fine.

If the lift is noticeable - wife may get upset seeing that and get me busted....she already thought the shelf add was silly

I think you can get away with it no problem.

Damn! I installed the rear springs, that was actually pretty easy. You can disconnect the sway bar and do one side at a time.
The front, just pull the struts yourself. Make sure to unplug the wire at the top first! Take them to a shop and have them swap the springs.

Then I took the vehicle to Les Schwab and asked them to align it only. Turns out, only the front end needed anything done. That was $113. I did need to sign a waiver for the recommendation of recalibrations. As it turns out, I didn't need them anyway.

I might need to do the recalibration after I get new tires, going to a 285/75/18 on OEM wheels. Which is supposed to fit in the spare location, possibly deflated.
I paid for parts+ $213 for "installation '.
Fwiw, Schwab wanted almost $800 for alignment and recalibration, the dealership wanted $1100 just for the recalibration!

I have a cracked front window anyway, and just figured, worse case, I'd get it all recalibrated when they changed the window. Have my insurance foot the bill.
