Good morning - anyone out there 'sporting' a 3/4 size RR - like the one Westcott and some others make? Wanting to ditch the OvertTrail rack - but would never use the full length rack. Curious to know if I'm buying any more quiet over the existing wind tunnel noise.

Do you know if that fits/mounts to the lexus easily?
The LC FE rack fits in the same exact locations. I had it and there are limitations to aftermarket attachments. Good for a basic rack to rest things on and much quieter than the GX rack

There are also the Victory 4x4 and Peak 4x4 (an australian brand) that are 3/4 length

I spent a small fortune on one of these Peak 4x4 racks to ship it from AUS (shipping costs plus US duties of $300+) because I loved the look of it. Owning a Prem Plus with low profile rails I also needed the roof gutter trim pieces which were challenging to get my hands on due to national backorder.

Anyway, a guy on the LC250 page said he found this one on eBay, which appears to be the same exact item, just not private labeled. Hoping you or someone else can benefit from my experience. Happy to send a couple installed pics if you like.

I don't know why but this line is added any time you post a link from eBay, I don't sell anything.

How do you like this design? How is the noise? Are the rails able to accommodate t-slot accessories? Love the look of it. And prefer the 3/4 length.

Love the design and looks of this rack. I haven't noticed an increase in wind noise over the OEM rails that came with the truck, if anything there's been less noise. Not sure about adding t-slot accessories, I've only strapped a few things to the rack temporarily. The rails have slots that have a removable rubber strip so I assume they are t-slot compatible(?). For the price of the Ebay option I'd recommend checking it out. Just make sure it comes with the little foam sticker pads that go around the roof mounting holes, mine came with them (12 pieces).

I took a closer look and there are latches on each end of the rails that flip up and allow you to pull out the rubber strip in the middle of the rail. See pics..and no, they've never flipped up from road wind.

Yes it will fit the OT version. If you have an OT you already have the gutter pieces I was referring to. The guy on the LC forum hadn't purchased the Ebay version, he'd just noted that it looked like the exact same product, and I agree.

Finally got around to install the eBay version and was wondering what the foam pads are for. The installation instruction doesn’t mention anything about them. Do I need to uninstall and start over 😂? I’ll report back on the noise but I believe they are nosiier than just having ot rails . As far as the look go I like the look overall but the rubber seal that sticks out of front and rear rail covers kind of bothers me as the oem didn’t have this

Here is the instruction

Yes the instructions I received were the same. I mentioned the pads in my previous post but it was at the very end of a long explanation so you probably missed it. The pads go around the 12 roof mounting holes and are compressed to keep out moisture when tightened down. I believe the OEM rails came with similar pads. If you used silicone around the mounting holes I'd think you'd be fine.
