Hi, All. I own a 2024 GX 550 Premium Plus. I am looking at upgrading the wheels as I cannot stand the OEMs on this vehicle. I am looking at the Touren TR79 20X9 with a +30 offset. I am also considering the Raceline 158B Impulse wheels 20X8.5 with a +35 offset. I plan to keep the OEM tire size and do not have any sort of lift on the vehicle. Has anyone purchased wheels in either one of these sizes? Any issues with rubbing? What is the lowest offset I could go without experiencing rubbing if I choose a 20X9 wheel and no trimming? There are some awesome Fuel brand wheels available but the majority have offsets lower than +30. Appreciate any insights.

If you plan on using the stock Yokohama 265/55/20 on any new 20" rim, you would likely have no fitment problems with either of those rims and any rim with offset all the way down to the low teens.

I think it would look funny though with those smaller tires poking out.

I think you are right. I may bite the bullet and go with an 18 inch wheel, there seem to be a lot more options.

I have struggled with this. I have been working with discount tire. They finally have found me a solution. I went with Vossen 17 8.5 +35 offset. Toyo A/T III 305/70 17.
