I was wondering if it's worth buying Tire & Wheel Protexction, from my experience with non-lexus, the dealer will always show a fine print that's not covered under warranty. Since this is the first time, I'm buying GX550, wondering if it's worth it?

I politely declined all the suggested packages. I wish I could have declined the cool box, HUD, Digital Key, Roof Rack, and the rest of the useless Lexus forced options.

I wish I had got tire hazard. I have to replace a cut tire at 500miles. They are not cheap!

If you can get it, do it. The factory tires they provide aren’t the most durable. 13,000 miles and they all look super worn. I was off roading on what was a pretty normal dirt road and the tire was cut. Put in the spare and drove it about 1000 before replacing it with the same tire but from discount tire, and you can distinctly tell the difference. Guy at discount said the factory tires are softer so they ride better when you purchase the vehicle but wear down quicker. Had I purchased the road hazard, it should have been covered.
Pic of the cut tire. Went flat in seconds.

I purchased this package for my L+. I checked with the dealer service manager to see if they really can repair those wheels and he said they had just gotten the machine to so. Those wheels will inevitably get scraped up and the policy includes like 5 or 6 fixes. On the tires, they just replace the tire whether it’s a repairable routine flat or whatever.
