Ball mount height/drop? (3 Viewers)

What's the factory drop, or height from the ground unweighted for the hitch ball mount? Seeing if I should be buying a new one or current might work.

I have the same question. I measured 21.5”. Then I measured my Black Dog trailer (with drift boat) tongue at 15”. This is a 6.5” drop, which seems high.

Bump! Anyone know the "correct" drop for the trailer hitch ball mount? i.e. what's the drop on the overpriced factory one?

Just picked up my OT+ Friday and it included the hitch. Drop is 2-5/8" near as I can tell.

I bought this and it seems to work well with my drift boat:
4" drop, 2" rise, 1" hole

The correct drop on your ball mount is dependent on the tongue height of the particular trailer you are pulling. I have different ball mounts for our camper vs our horse trailer. (well, I used to, now I have a mount that I can adjust up and down for different trailers)
