is it possible to permanately disable cross traffic alert?

I tried and don't think it is possible, it seems to restart everytime I turn on the truck.

If you cannot perma disable it, can you at least disable the audible tone beep?

Nope! This is the single most annoying "feature" on this truck. You have to navigate through the menus to disable it every damn time you start this truck. Someone needs to hack this and find a way to permanently disable this annoying system.
