Took delivery back in January and really enjoying LexusLife. So far Wheels/Tyres, Deep Dish Mats, Tint/Ceramic Coat, Electric Brakes/Tow Bar/Anderson Plugs to Van & Cargo. Yesterday had Airbags in rear & taller front coils. Today I’ll install Weathershields & Peak4x4 roof rack. Later in the year will install Brown David LR Tank (under development) and Torquit full exhaust with twin outlets for a little pop!! Then it’s done and time to head off and enjoy our amazing country 🇦🇺 🤘🏼

Oh and adjust headlights down, just about blinded 4 cyclists & 203 drivers on way home 😆

Nice mate! I've got the peak 4x4 roof rack (short) and the side storage compartment and they're sweet! Can't wait to see the rest of the goodies come through.

Can you post up videos of the exhaust?

Is that the Razed Products side panel? Got that also, great idea. Also waiting on the KAON rear shelf.

I can’t share the sound clips on exhaust at this stage but keep eye on the Torquit website as they will release the Tundra first and LX & GX later this year. They tell me they are working making the later a little quieter as it makes some noise when opened up! I said I want it sounding like a Dakar Hilux 3.5 😆

Can you do me a favour? Just fitted up the Peak4x4 3/4 rack and tightened everything up & the cross bars still slide if you give them a bit of a slight hit. The 2 outside bolts don’t seem to do much at all and don’t clamp onto the rail much. The central bolt that has the flip up cover does more but I’ve tightened them all and given it a good crank. They are still loose enough to move! I want to mount a ARB awning which would slide forward under braking or impact. The same for anything else you may mount. Peak are looking into it for me, just wondering what your experience was?

Any message back from Peak? I'm currently waiting on delivery of the same rack. Thanks.

@Hendo66 I received this message from Peak this morning, I assume this is in regards to your inquiry. Did you receive the same message?

Hello,

We are reaching out regarding your recent purchase of the Peak Roof Rack System. During our ongoing quality assurance checks, we identified that the original crossbar mount bases (labelled as part ‘M’ in the installation instructions) sit slightly higher than intended, which may affect the fit or appearance of the rack once installed.

As a result, we have redesigned this component and are now providing you with a replacement set of revised bases at no cost. These updated bases will ensure a more accurate fit and improved performance.

What you need to do:

  • Simply remove the original bases marked 'M' and replace them with the new ones provided.
  • All other parts and instructions remain unchanged.
We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. If you require any assistance with installation or have further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team.
