Installed SpyderTrax 1" spacers this weekend as the first step in creating room for 285/70/18's (34/s). Preference is to keep the stock rims so I am exploring this path before giving up and going to aftermarkets. Seems like it will work and the 1" really helped the visual appeal of the stance. I really didn't like how the tires sat well inside the OT+'s fenders. This moved them out to even with the fender if not just a hair inside. The extra 1" width of the 285's should be perfect with the spacers.

Did you have to replace the studs or cut them for those?

That simple modification makes the vehicle look so much better. Great job!
Does it rub on full turns?
Has it affected handling?
Any vibration at high speeds?

Great way to test! Will be interested seeing the 34's. That would be my long term choice as well as keeping the stock wheels which look great.

Didi you go with the ones made for the 2023-present Toyota Sequoia or LX600?

So, never an update on the 285’s fit or rub issues with the 1” spacers @Abarbs30 ?? I’m considering running some spacers on the factory 22’s. I already have 285’s. Would be great to know, before purchasing the spacers…

Ended up taking it all off a few weeks later bc I couldn’t stand the OT wheels…. Bought 17” methods and but 285 17 75’s on and haven’t looked back.

Did you ever end up getting spacers for your 22''s?

Thinking about the same thing, would love to see any pictures.

Pardon my ignorance about this. Do you use the spacers with the 17" methods? With the 17" Methods on and the 285/17/75, is there any rubbing on full shock compression, turning etc., and did you lift your GX at all? Finally, how does it feel driving around. Thanks for listening to my multiple part questions.

Best

I am going to guess he's no longer using the spacers as the methods typically come in around 35 offset or lower and remove the need to have any spacers. I think the spacers with the OEM wheels pretty much put in at the same poke level as a method wheel would without the spacers.
