Hello all, here’s my current build. I’m aiming for more for high paced desert off-roading rather than a rock crawler or overlander.

Here’s the current build as of June 2025.
King 2.5” OE coilovers
17x8.5 +15 RAYS ZE40x
37x12.5 BFG KM3
NYTOP Bumper, flares, and sliders
Durobumps (0 lift)

I’ll be adding more about what all is involved to fit 37s properly, it does require a bit of cutting but does clear at lock to lock for moderate off-roading. There’s still some things I need to do to get it to clear lock to lock at full bump but definitely doable and not bad at all relative to other vehicles outside of a Jeep or Raptor.

I have some Dobinsons UCAs on order that’ll go on once they arrive.

I also have a comms mast up top with a Starlink Mini, Weboost, and UHF antenna for a GMRS radio. These are mounted to a SavageUTV magnetic Starlink mount with a bracket I designed for the other antennas.

Distant future plans include external bypasses if there’s enough room in the front and 3.0” bypasses in the rear. Or I may go the IBP route if it ever comes out for the Tacoma.

Great build and info!

I love the way your build looked with the NYTOP flares, did you swap back to OT flares?

How did it go with the extended studs? The ZE40X should be arriving later this week or early next week so wanted to be totally prepared for the install. Thanks.
