I thought there already was a thread to identify those items that could be improved or added to the next year's model but I couldn't find it so here's my wish list:
1) I'd like there to be an actual knob next to the audio knob to control fan speed. I find it a challenge to change it an increment at a time.
2) The android Lexus app gives me a notification if my doors are unlocked and allows me to lock my doors remotely which is good. It also shows when my windows are open but does not let me close open windows remotely. I'd like that capability also

I agree. However, I will say that it's a great improvement over the fan speed control for the previous generation Land Cruiser. For it, you had to touch an icon on the screen and then push an up or down icon.

I bet the lawyers won't allow it. One could accidentally crush someone hanging in or out of a window.

Slide the fan icon left or right with your finger and then you don't have to use the +/- one increment at a time

1. Sunglasses holder
2. Side door cup holders that can handle a normal 24 oz water bottle
3. Knobs for AC/Heat Fan
4. Bigger Glove box
5. Storage - somewhere - anywhere? in car
6. Bigger gas tank
7. Radio/Sirius audio on screen is sub par
8. Less clunky hitch cover - easier access
9. More adjustments for captains chairs

Hotter heat seats. So hot that you need to use a lower setting (defender got this right). Cooled seats in rear. Better sounding doors when opening and closing: less prius, more g wagon. Something creative with what would be 3rd row cup holders in OT+. Come with KO2’s. Plus above posts (gas tank, camera rear view). All for now but only owned a week.

I strongly agree with 1-6
I did get a Sunglass holder that works pretty well and was easy to install. It replaced ceiling handle on drivers side (either side really) and it works pretty well though I noticed it is getting quite warm inside as did the regular ones in most cars.

Climate Control - makes no good sense to me that various CC settings, options, tweaks are in 3 places. Since they bothered to give us the center screen Climate Control Shortcuts, I really wish they would place ALL CC related options there. To include Max Heat and Max Cool. One readily accessible place.

Which reminds me..

Center Screen Shortcuts Customization - the other center screen shortcut..snould be customizable. Give me a list of (some) otherwise menu-buried items I can add to the shortcuts list. I find it easier to swipe left-right while driving vs menu-submenu digging

Cruise Control - I’d prefer my GX to always default to traditional CC, not adaptive / radar CC. I’d be fine if this was a dealer-only changeable setting; or maybe a way for the owner to do themselves.

Instrument Cluster Visibility - It’s mostly impossible for the front passenger to see the driver instrument clusters and info, at least during the day. My wife is constantly complaining she can’t see simple items such as speed limit or outside temp. She can see some items at night. I finally confirmed just recently when we swapped and she’s right. Therefore I’d like to have at least some items duplicated on the center screen, maybe ability to choose in Settings, maybe add it to Lexus Map display, just some way.

Yes! Jeep Grand Cherokee (crappy quality of build) had a really good and flexible/configurable UI on their (buggy) Infotainment system!

1. Adjustable rear seat. The gx lc250 have average rear legroom that could have easily been mitigated by allowing them to slide back and forth
2. Omission of 3rd zone climate in ot is inexcusable
3. Why can’t the trip mpg be reset in the instrument cluster ?
4. The eye detector doesn’t allow for holding the steering wheel at 12 oclock
5. Ride is too jittery handling small imperfections in the road specially given that the OT comes with adjustable shocks . This is not a sold axle thing as raptors have figured this out

We bought a 2025 Mercedes Sprinter Van 3500 with AWD. This beat measures 25.2 ft long and 10.4 feet high, weighing in at almost 12,000 pounds with passengers fuel, gear and water. Still gets 18.8 MPG at 78 mph. My GX gets 15 at 78mph so Lexus, come on with the pitiful MPG

Next is to improve the heads up display to allow viewing while wearing sunglasses

Next is sliding 2nd row seats (unless there is a 3rd row). 2nd row would be Muchhhhh more comfortable if the seat had six more inches to slide back or forth.

Next, with software PLEASE allow users to make whatever modifications they want with the settings and stick when we program how we want items like AC, suspension, stearing, handling etc. Pain in the ass

Lastly the massage seats need a boost in power and for Gods sake, why does it require 7 steps to activate and get back to the original screen all while driving to turn this on. Should also be a setting that pops up with continue y/n so you don't have to go back through 7 touch screen steps again.

Headlights that turned off with the car.
There’s a setting for that

I’ll piggyback. I wish the light options were OFF-DRL-AUTO-ON. I loathe how sensitive the light sensor for the headlights to come on in auto. I even have it on the least sensitive setting. I find the 3rd setting (all lights on except headlights) pointless.

My wish list: (in order of desirability)

1. Bigger Capacity Fuel tank : My puny Carrera GTS has a factory extended fuel tank with 23.7 gallons - GX is much bigger, unsure what was engineering decision to stick with smaller fuel tank than a sport car!

2. Split tailgate: LCs are known for this and simply a very helpful feature...

3. Matrix Active headlights: Again, this makes driving my GTS such a pleasure (and safe!) in the night! It absolutely needs to be in a high miler vehicle such as LCs and GX

4. Camera based RVM: Helps when the trunk is full!

Other things I can live with, but really two big features that my Carrera has (which make long distance driving much better) are long range tank and Active Matrix headlamps - will terribly miss those on the GX which is purpose built for long distance driving!

Placing that setting on OFF simply means your lights go off when you open the door. The multi-second settings determine how long your lights stay on for once you open the door.

I spend a lot of time in ferry lineups and on the ferry and it's a pain to have to open GX's door in order to off the lights. The dealer has NOT been able to resolve this. It would be nice to be able to turn off the lights when I turn off the motor.

When I tow the trailer I just leave the lights on ON because it is the same setting as AUTO except your lights are also on in daylight but turn off in the same manner as AUTO.

The additional pain in the butt is the windows only work with the ignition ON after one opens the door to turn off the light. The window should work with accessory

The engineers haven't driven their product in the real world.
