Hello! I'm in AZ too and I get out into the desert as often as possible. I'm going to check out the newly-re-opened Apache Trail this weekend and hike up Fish Creek Canyon.

That's great! Apache Trail definitely brings back a lot of memories and I'm anxious to get out there with my 1958... and also my gravel bike!

Do you know of any local LC/GX meetup groups? I feel a bit of an off-road novice. I had a wrangler 20 years ago, but haven't done much off-roading since. I'd be interested in a community that could show me the ropes.

Don’t know of any groups, I’m sure there are Toyota groups out there.

Apache Trail was very nice today, a bit warm though.

Welcome from San Diego. Getting out to the Borrego desert next month. You guys are brave getting out there today. I started out on the LC forum buy a GX OT came in long before my LC and I joined the GX forum but keep up on the LC Forum as well. There is a lot of interchangeable info on both and I like to keep up with both.
