How to disable that annoying “Multimedia” prompt on iPhone?

Every time I hop into my GX, my iPhone gets this annoying prompt. Pressing on “Allow” brings up the Lexus app but then nothing happens. Pressing on “Ignore” dismisses the prompt, and as far as I could tell, it doesn’t hinder any normal functions.

This happens even without starting the car. I do have the Lexus app on my phone and configured to show status and do remote start etc.

I’ve fiddled with various settings in the app and in the car. But this prompt just doesn’t go away.

Any idea how to get rid of it permanently? TIA!

I've been curious about this myself. I've been split about 1/3 each between allow, ignore, and doing nothing and it seems to have no impact on anything that I do in the truck (other than "allow" opens the Lexus phone app which I immediately close).

I ended up disconnecting the bluetooth to the car because of this. No more notifications. I use carplay with a cable.

I'm not willing to give up wireless CarPlay just yet.

I tried disabling Lexus App's Bluetooth access, no dice though.

I notice in CarPlay set up there is a toggle for an "Enhanced Integration". Not really sure what it is, but I'm going to turn it off to test and will report back.

I only get this message when I am using my phone (unlock mode obviously). It goes by itself if in the locked mode. Annoying for sure
