Very cool looking square truck with all the nice options and Luxury you expect from Lexus. However, I found it very difficult to get a quick read on the traffic when glancing over at the passenger side mirror. Although the mirrors match the square vehicle look of the truck, the rectangular width is very narrow and elongated. Anyone else with a similar experience or is it just me?

Agree. I plan to tow a teardrop, and wonder about the usefulness of those narrow mirrors.

it only happened in the 2029 models, the 2030 with the nuclear engine and wings for flight mode correct that issue.

I feel like I'm missing something here. Yes, the 550 wasn't redesigned for 2026. Perhaps the OP hasn't been paying close attention and just meant the most recent design of the GX. His question is a valid one. While the mirrors look good, they offer less functional view than typical mirrors that are wider than they are tall.
