Lane departure

Did a search and couldn't locate this topic. On a brand new GX, I was able to easily turn off the lane departure feature (where it vibrates or grabs the wheel when detecting lane markers). Once I had made a "driver profile" for myself, the options are different in the menus and I can't find how to turn this off. Anyone know where it is - feels silly that I can't find it!

Two options: press vehicle on the dock on the left side of the screen, go to driving assist and deselect lane departure alert.

Or press the six dots quick menu in the middle of the screen and swipe until you find it.

thanks, I just needed to go "back" in that menu to get to Vehicle.

Mine would vibrate when changing lanes on the highway even when the turn signals are engaged. Figured it's defective so I disabled it.

This is the only thread I've found on here regarding lane departure assist - I haven't yet created a driver profile but my issue is that the LDA defaults to ON every time I start the car. I am always going in to the menu to deactivate it every single time I drive the car. It's annoying AF and to be honest the feature itself is just dangerous when changing lanes without using your indicator and the steering wheel tries pulling you back into the lane. Does creating a driver profile fix this and turns it off permanently? Will try this.

I deactivated the lane departure B.S. on the way home from the dealership when I bought it. This is the single most dangerous "feature." Mine stays off once I deactivate it either through Vehicle Settings or the quick-menu 3-dot thing. I just had my windshield replaced and the dealership reset all that stuff and I had to turn it off again - and it has stayed off.

Thanks, good to know - very strange that yours stays off permanently but mine resets every time I start the car
