Hello, I am buying the Westcott 2.5 inch lift. What is the largest tire I can fit on this without doing any trimming, I also want a little poke on the sides. Thanks again

I had mine put on last week with Falken Wildpeaks 285/70/R18. They also used spacers, but I'm not sure of the size. Mine does rub a little a full turns. It would take some serious metal removal to keep it from rubbing.

I was thinking a negative offset to have them stick out more to avoid that.

This would make it worse. You guys should check out Tinkers Adventure on YouTube to fully understand what each decision you make to suspension and tires.

Well, I currently have a -12 offset on the wheels on my Tacoma and they have a nice poke.

Depends on your rim size and offset. You can fit near 35s I believe. I know you can fit slightly over 34" on the stock 20s and i think the 18s as well.

Ok. What offset would you recommend to get? Like a +20? Everyone is saying that they need to do trimming even with that offset for a 285 tire.

What type of rims are you wanting? A 285 what tire? You can fit a 285 wide tire without cutting depends on how tall you want it to be and if the rim can support that wide of a tire. Shouldn't be a problem. Are you staying stock rims? They have a pretty positive offset.

I’m looking for suggestions I def want to get aftermarket wheels. And plus I’m getting the wescott lift, that’s makes a difference right ?

Just put on 285/75/18 Duratracs on my 25 OT+. Method 701's that are 18x9 with +18 offset. Trimming required even with the wescott kit.

We’ve been on our Alaska trip since late May and come across 2 vehicles with good thread BF Goodrich KO2’s changing their tires. Unless you are building a mall crawler I’d be calculating the spare tire into the build. Those sharp rocks show no mercy.

Took mine by Tandem Offroad today to get a second opinion. Put up with the little rub I'm getting in reverse or do some serious trimming, including metal. I'm leaving it alone for now.
