Saw these lights today on a Land Cruiser. Especially liked the brackets - look very clean. Did not see the owner - anyone recognize the brand of the bracket - could not find anything like it on the Rigid site.

Anybody have a Lexus part number for the two cowl pieces that SQHD references? Looked at parts diagrams on a couple Lexus dealership websites and it's not clear to me what the part number is. Had ditch lights on my 4Runner Trail and miss the crap out of them.

Might be this,

Cowl Trim - Lexus (62112-60350-C0)

Cowl Trim - Lexus (62111-60210-C0)

I just ordered the Baja XL80/S1 lights and the whole SDHQ package (brackets and cowls). Will post when I finish the project.

Cool. I was messing around with the cowl piece today and got a couple clips to release. Not sure if I could get all to release without breaking one. So sounds like SQHD part is metal.

I watch the install video on the light mounts from Wescott Designs. Once they pulled out the big drill - I lost interest. One mistake and it could get very costly.

I wasn't keen on drilling into the frame so I crossed off Wescott. Watching the install video from Westcott made the choice to go with SDHQ much easier.

Anyone catch this teaser by NYTOP? I recently installed their sliders and although I didn't know they were made in China (might have swayed my decision to buy), they're really well built and sleek. I definitely like this bracket design compared to everything else on the market right now - emailed them about the video and was told the following:

"The ditch light brackets will fit a GX550 but not the 460... and, as for the reason they aren't on our website, patent pending :(
The timeline for sale is a bit hazy and we are hoping not to be caught in legal limbo. I wouldn't expect them to hit our website until AT LEAST Fall '25, if everything goes smoothly."

If you mean pictures of the brackets and lights then I can take some photos and post them tomorrow. I did post some along with other images but I'll take some close up and post them.

Don't go out of your way. I was interested in buying the SQHD brackets but re-using the existing cowls. Did the clips break when you removed the them? Although I see you used the SQHD cowls so careful removal of the OEM ones probably didn't matter.

If you did manage to remove the cowls without breaking them you would still to make precise cuts which would be difficult. I did manage to remove one side without breakage but cutting the insert proved too much. I already had the SDHQ cowls on hand so removing the OEM cowls was just for fun. In short, it far easier to buy the cowls from SDHQ.

They actually sent two driver side cowls so that delayed the install by two days. But they made it right immediately. I would advise checking the package to minimize any delay.

Another thing to keep in mind is the delicate plastic trim pieces that sit next to the cowls. Those break easily as well so I ordered those in advance.
