My old hitch pin is too short for the GX. Could you share what you're using as hitch pin /w lock?

I actually ran into this exact issue last week towing my 2k2. The locking pin included with my U-Haul hitch was too short and I planned to run to the store the next day but while I was packing for my trip and digging through the trunk I found that Lexus included one in the hidden compartment under the trunk! Hopefully your GX has one too.

Which trim do you have? Overtrail? I’ve seen Overtrail owners report of finding a Lexus Factory Pin, but I’ve had no luck yet on my Premium Plus.

I use this one so the trailer coupler key matches the hitch pin. I also use two quick links to make it easier to chain up.

I have the Premium Plus trim. It was sitting underneath the trunk where the small compartment is.

What do you mean by coupler lock? The other post here says he has a couple lock but I don't see much difference from the part I posted.

Yeah, the GX has a really non-standard receiver design. I had to get out the grinding wheel to reshape the pin on my bike rack to fit.

I use this one on '26 Lux: InfiniteRule 61194 Single Pack, Receiver Lock for 2024+ Toyota Tacoma & Land Cruiser. Made in USA and fits easily with the outer hitch cover on. Stainless Steel and very high quality. Purchased on AMZ.

I use a B&W. It does NOT fit with the outer cover on, but you could dremel it a bit if you wanted to. I just leave it off.
