While I enjoyed the GX, I few things could have been better. A couple days ago I bought the big brother the LX700h overtrail. My rationale--When towing my boat, a few things would have been nice: more horsepower, more torque, and a rear end that wasn't "droopy drawers". The LX hybrid helps a lot here. Another bonus was the front locking differential as I end up in remote areas launching my boat in sand, mud and clay. My dogs would often get hot in my GX, so the fans had to be cranked up all the time. The LX has rear air vents. Back to being in remote parts of Canada. The hybrid system has built in redundancy, so it potentially won't leave me stranded. (The tiniest little perk is the rear 120v plug in. Both my boys are college swimmers. We have potlucks after home meets. My 4runners plug in WOULD support (heat) my crockpots during the drive, but for some reason my GX would keep shutting off. The 2400watt plug in the LX would likely power ten crockpots)

I will miss the boxy look of the GX. I will miss the incognito paint. Hopefully I won't miss the tow/haul mode as it seems the LX does not have that? I hope the perks outweigh the price....GULP!

I attached two pictures.......but they just don't do this slick rig justice. It must be seen in person. Fingers crossed for the right call!!

Good luck with your new rig.

Even though I've had her for four days, it was pouring cats and dogs my whole way home in bumper to bumper traffic (and she's been parked since). It does seems that the pneumatic suspension is silky smooth and it is definitely quieter inside. I will report back once I get some miles on it.
