HI! Just picked up my '25 GX 550 OT+ this past Tuesday. It is replacing my 2011 Tundra, after 341,000 miles, as my new daily driver. 300 miles in, I'm already loving it!
I'm keeping the Tundra, as it has much more sentimental value than street value, to me.
I've always been a "car guy." Growing up, my dad had an International Scout and a Toyota Pickup, which made me think I'd be a truck guy right out of the gate. My first car, however, was a 1990 Honda Civic Si hatchback. While not fast, it was quick and handled great for a little econo-hatch. So, I suddenly fell in love with going fast and went down the sports car path. My second true love, after that Civic, was a 2003 Honda S2000 that I kept for 16 years. I eventually traded that for a 2017 Porsche Cayman S, then a 1991 Acura NSX, and now currently: a 2021 Porsche 718 Spyder.
