Overtrail - Cargo area armrests w/cupholders? (1 Viewer)

Has anyone figured out how to put the useless armrests/cupholders in the cargo area of the Overtrail to use? As far as I can tell, they are hollow. Seems like an opportunity to add some additional storage . . .

Yank them out and see all the space below! They literally just yank out (yank hard).

I’m going to try to find an extra set of the rear interior cargo bay side panels to experiment with - cutting openings and 3D printing closing panel covers.

Glad you guys are looking at this!! Right now these random cup holders serve as handheld radio holders on my Overtrail. And not even good ones at that. Lexus took the easy (cheaper) way out on this one.
