Picking up new GX in June

I've read about the hood flutter issue and was wondering if that fix is applied to new cars or if I should ask the dealership to fix it before I take delivery? Are there any other things I should be looking out for or asking the dealer to address before delivery?

Ask them if you can test drive it. Make sure you reverse out (brake squeal issue), drive at least 45mph (hood flutter issue) and pay attention to ride quality (vibration issue). Make sure tires are at 35psi when you test drive

I will be doing exactly what you mentioned when we get ours within the next 2 weeks. It's on the way from California to Houston right now on a train.

If it's a new 2025, I'd be surprised if the issue hasn't been addressed already. My 2025 has virtually no noticable flutter (Less than my 5th gen 4Runner).

Unfortunately I am flying into town to take delivery so I don't have the luxury of leaving it with them to fix anything I discover on a test drive.

I wouldn’t press on any issues unless you know for sure they’re present. Most units are flawless
