Just picked up a new 2025 Overtrail+. Have been following this forum while waiting for the vehicle to arrive. My wife and I have just retired and are planning on visiting all the national parks and want to use the GX550 as our travel vehicle. That being said, I am interested in any recommendations on items such as skid plates, front bumpers, rock rails (we have the factory ones, but my wife can't get in the truck with them), any other items that might be of value. Not really worried about the cost. Looking for quality-built products. We won't be camping; our overnights will be lodge/resort/hotel stays.

I have seen the comments/recommendations for Dissent, CBI, NYTOP, Westcott, etc., but wondering if everyone has agreed on a best-in-class item or if it all comes down to personal opinion (NYTOP - Skid Plate, Westcott - Rock Rails, Dissent - Front Bumper)? Further, has anyone heard of a brush guard for the front, all the plastic in the front makes me nervous.

The installations will be done at a friend's body shop; however, I would like to stick to simple bolt-on applications, not a fan of cut and paste.

Congrats on taking delivery of your GX and welcome. Post some pics of it when you have time.
