Hard to articulate why you would go with a deflector over paint protection film in 2025

I'll be looking for one in Aus when we get delivery on our GX in the next few months. I'm hoping to get one that is raised at the rear with the bug deflector as we do a lot of night driving through cane fields and they help to keep bug splatter off the windscreen.
