Lord have mercy, there are so many choices! I was pretty intrigued by the ARB Roof Rack but once I discovered it prohibits the tilt function of the sunroof I am dismayed. I am leaning toward the Gobi Stealth. Sure I know it’s a little heavier, but I also think it is more durable. Anyone have any other opininos, keeping in mind desire to have the sunroof fully operational?

What’s your use case? Do you care about noise? Height? The only reviews on this site for the ARB mention it is stout and very loud.

Well, yes, the sounds would be an issue. I have not ever had an ARB roof rack, so thanks for the tip. My use case is relatively light use, when I had the Gobi on the 4Runner I also had a Maggiolinia RTT, so needed the strength. I know a lot of folks are getting the Westcott, but there delivery speed is not that great right now. Do you have any other suggestions? I will not have an RTT, but maybe occasionally a couple of Pelican cases up there with light loads.
For light use I have landed on aerodynamic cross bars from Yakima that are low profile vs a full rack. I am hauling a cargo box, surf boards, fly rod carrier etc. I tried the off-road brand steel crossbars but they were almost as loud as the factory cross bars (terrible) and so stout that my quick release clamps didn’t work on them. Plus they rust so need touch up work.
I have the Westcott full rack and I've never noticed any noise.

After adding the two rubber trim pieces on both sides of the windshield - my rack was rendered almost silent. Took the truck into the desert and even with gear on the top the noise was minimal. Lots of options out there - but my existing had more than enough room for me.
Have you considered the ‘24+ Toyota Land Cruiser 3/4 roof rack? I had it on my ‘24 Land Cruiser First Edition and the noise was barely noticeable and it didn’t interfere with the sunroof in any way. It’s certainly suitable for the use case(s) your describing, and it’s essentially an OEM equivalent component. I’ve considered putting one on my current OT+.
