Hi! I’m trying to get into a 2026 OT. I am in SoCal but can travel to NV or AZ.

What is the current availability of the 2026 OT? What are the wait times like these days, and are people still paying over MSRP?

Your input is greatly appreciated in advance.

Call Longo Lexus - they are about your best bet - and get on their list

If you’re in no rush and willing to pay for shipping, you can put a 1k refundable deposit at Pembroke Pines out of FL to get on their list.

Can opt out of most PIO/DIO to pay MSRP, sales guy told me 90-120 days is the avg wait time.

Las Vegas Lexus is not selling GX out of area currently. (not even to other NV cities he said)

More options in CA, but SoCal has potentially big markups.

I couldn't find any available close to my preferred spec (prem+ incognito). So, will just be on the waitlist in OR/PNW for now. Still monitoring if something pops up.

I tried Vegas also, thinking being in AZ it’d be an easy flight out and drive home but got the same info mentioned above.

I spoke to the guys in San Diego thinking the same. He told me it’s first come first serve, no list or deposit.

They send out emails with incoming GX inventory and expected dates. If you’re somewhat close you could try to call ahead and show up early on the delivery dates if their inventory matches your specs.

Email from mid Feb attached.

I was on the list for Escondido Lexus who said they sold at MSRP. They called after 6 months but I'd already bit the bullet and bought one over MSRP. I was also on Longo's list but they never called so I finally called them and got my deposit back.

Lexus of El Cajon in San Diego County has had several 26 GXs that I have seen on their lot while having our GX and RX serviced there. They are selling the GX over MSRP. We have purchased 3 Lexus's from them and we like the sales and service dept. Good luck.

Longo if you are patient and have some flexibility of what you want. I got my 24 only waiting 30 days on the list. Definitely not the norm, but proof that it can happen.

I’ve heard some good things about Pembroke Pines in Florida and if they are able to remove PIO/DIO, removing the roof rack alone will help offset your transportation costs.

I was on Longo's list for a 25 for six months, they never called. Bought elsewhere, very easy to get my deposit returned, so why not.
