Anyone try these yet? I didn't even realize how big this gap is until I looked to see where this would go. It makes sense that this gap would create unnecessary wind noise.

I went ahead and installed these. Install took 5 min on a clean windshield. They fit well in the gap but i'm concerned about the cheap double-sided tape. Easy enough to replace these at $25. Have my next drive this weekend and will report if they help with the wind noise.

I'd be a little surprised if sticking a cheap piece of rubber in there solves a problem that Lexus engineers missed and doesn't create a different, bigger problem. But let us know how it goes.

is there a reduction in noise?

There is a slight reduction in noise and wind buffeting. I do think it's worth the $25 they cost, but they aren't gonna make your GX sound like a Bentley

Hi everyone! For those who have been using this, what's the verdict? does it really help with wind noise?

I have installed them on my GX. Easy install.

I did not note a change in wind noise.

I wanted to fill the gap between the windshield and trim because the factory gap traps significant ice and snow when driving in winter storms.

Heading up to Tahoe in November so may get an opportunity to test if they mitigate the edge of windshield slush build up experienced last year.

I think there is a little less wind noise after install, but it's fairly subtle. I like that they keep pine needles from collecting in that gap., though, and hopefully snow and ice.

I actually didnt have much windshield noise but said why not- its cheap and easy. Good fit except at top I did a little trimming because it's just kind of hanging out there with no stick. Took a road trip and as usual, noises I heard were from my 285 KO3s and Gobi roof rack.

It rained a bit during the trip and water seemed to flow straight over to side windows as opposed to up the channels and to the roof(?).

The strips just seemed to be fixing a problem I didn't have so they are now in the garbage.
