I installed the grap handle fold down sunglasses holder. Works better than the cubby over the mirror. Cubby is good for keys, phone etc but my glasses didn't fit well in it. Otherwise they both fit and work very well. My wife uses the dash tray for phone and glasses. There was another forum...
I recently upgraded to 5 BFG KO3'S on stock GX OT wheels. Have a 2026 suspension now as well. No rubbing at any flex or wheel turn. I was able to get the full 34" spare to fit by airing it down and using a jack to push it up into the two brackets before cranking up the tire lift. After up, I...
FYI, the opening is snug as it is so any side walls with a 3D printed part may make fitment to tight. I recently did an overland trip and used the compressor many times going up and then down in pressures. It was fantastic. It was convenient enough to make use of it quickly in cases I would...
The milage on a hour long mixed hiway and two lane was at 17.4 mpg. A bit lower than I expected but was crappy rain the entire trip. I did notice a light vibration at highway speed so I will need to bring back for balance. New springs are still pending a shop willing to install.
I'll take another look this weekend at the spare. It has not made any rubbing sounds so it should be fine. Tested my full flex again and rotated wheel to full lock. No rubbing. It is close but does not touch.
New tire day! Added 285/70R18 BFG KO3 AT's on stock 2024 OT+ wheels and stock suspension. This is a 34" tall tire and has a minimum rim width of 7.5" which gives a bit more side wall height and bulge which I prefer. Helps keeping rocks and curb off the rims and aids in the flex of the tires...
Looks like I may do on my own. Any photos of the front eKDSS sway bar valve/bleader/pressure relief location would be appreciated. Also, is the rear less of an issue? Maybe just disconnect the bar end links? Was also wondering if it could be put into off road drive mode like rock or dirt...
I worry that this is "only" the compressor and not the front panel with the control and plug in. This part number had everything needed to fit and add to a 2024 OT.
Yes, it will bolt in but you need to cut the inner side panel where there is currently a pocket for the control head and tubing to fit. I posted photos of my install.
I was thinking about running a heavy 10 gauge wire to power the back 12v. In our 80 series I converted an ARB single outlet to a standard 12v plug and mounted it to the carpet next to the drivers seat. This was an easy access to plug in the fridge and it used up the wire run from the cord to...
