I believe there’s a small notch on the inner bottom edge of the cover. Should be a tool to remove cover, as well as the crossbars, included. Insert plastic tool in the notch, and twist or pry, to pop cover off. Mine was in plastic zip bag, located in glove box.
Removed from GX 550 OT+ @ 42 miles. Includes Crossbars, covers and tool for install.
$250 picked up in Central Arkansas, or possibly meet up in MO, KS or OK.
PayPal preferred, but open to most forms of payment.
Correct, ESE is the fake engine noise I was referring to. As for other platforms to turn those off, I believe so but I don’t have any experience with other options. Maybe someone else can answer?
Based on my 2024 that was built 12/20/24, and picked up 2/21/25, I’d say yes.
•No hood flutter
•No brake squeal
•Doors close solid, not tin sound
• Quiet cabin
After a few adjustments in Carista, I’m very impressed with this vehicle. Fit, finish, build quality and drive experience is great...
The following is not my information. This is copy/paste explanation.
Active noise cancellation will emit white noise from the vehicles audio system to attempt to keep the noise profile in the vehicle as normal as possible. It tries to eliminate road and wind noise.
Yes, Active Noise Cancelling. I believe it transmits through the speakers to offset outside noises.
Our cabin is now extremely quiet, very nice. Not sure what affect ANC would have on the stereo sound, but seems like it would have an affect if ANC is working to reduce noise through same...
Seems it may be dealer discretion. When I was searching out of state, about 75% would not put me on a list, only selling local. This included dealers only a few hours from me, just across state line. I suspect this had more to do with their lengthy GX waitlist, than not wanting my business...
Carista made a big difference for me. For $14.99 (already owned the dongle) I was able to turn off the fake engine noise and ANC. This change much improved the bass, and fullness in system. I only listen to Spotify, adjust to Loud and Acoustic EQ playback.
Still not great, like my 2015 LX...
Picked up my OT+ today. While the salesman was explaining the infotainment, and features, I laid the key FOB on the most convenient location…the wireless phone charger. He immediately said, “don't place the FOB there, it will drain the FOB battery “ Not sure how they determined this, but he was...
Had the black ones in my cart but hesitated too long. Copied/Paste and search, found the black ones here…

I’ll have the memory seats. My original dealer request was for the OT, but the dealer offered the OT+, and I accepted.
Yes, it costs more than the OT, but with the 2025 increases, the price gap narrows between 2024 OT+ and 2025 OT.
