I haven't tried this myself, but if you go into Settings -> (Vehicle Customize maybe? I can't remember) -> Climate, you can disable the "AC with Auto" option, which disables the "Auto" mode for AC and I believe for Recirc. Maybe that would work?
But in the manual, it states the vehicle will...
You do have to remove at least one skid plate, but on non-OT models, it's four m12 bolts and two m10s, I think. Again - all accessible (if sometimes a bit awkward) without jacking up the car.
Nothing installed in my vehicle, to my knowledge.
However, I believe you are automatically opted into data sharing with Lexis Nexis when you create a Lexus account, so the first thing I did was to opt out of the sale of my data in the Lexus app. Just about all major Personal Auto Insurance...
This Milwaukee M18 Inflator is my favorite Milwaukee power tool. It's inflated all four of my OT 18 inch tires from ~10psi to 35psi in less than 10 minutes on one not-perfectly-fresh 5ah battery without overheating. If you can wait, it'll usually go on sale during Home Depot's big quarterly...
I promise the oil change is like 5x easier than any brake job I've ever done. You don't even have to jack up the GX - it's one (17mm I think?) drain bolt and the oil filter, which requires a $5 socket from your local parts store.
Just don't overtighten the drain bolt - one good snug is fine...
Remember - a wider track can only make body roll worse. The wider track allows you to tilt more before tipping over, meaning you will get more body roll before the ultimate point at which the vehicle tips over. Before that point, the vehicle should feel pretty much the same.
Check out the 6 minute mark of this YouTube video - it demonstrates just how incredibly restricted your airflow has to be before it actually starts creating a meaningful vacuum in the intake:
Remember - there's only vacuum in the intake if there's a restriction blocking the flow into the...
Apologies for using the term "ragged edge" - I didn't mean to imply your tune was pushing an unsafe amount of boost, fueling, or timing under intended (well maintained factory hardware) conditions. I'm sure with everything in factory condition, your tune will be plenty safe for many tens or...
I've seen this piece of advice online, including from Northside Lexus's YouTube tutorials - when logging into the Lexus app after reinstalling, make sure you log in via your phone number - not your email address. For whatever reason, it seems like that makes the digital key more reliable.
I agree that you should break in the first 500 miles if feasible. I found that in the first 100 miles, my transmission's torque converter clutch was slipping under medium throttle, which would very quickly destroy your transmission if you were towing. It took another few hundred miles for my...
100% agree.
But I'd go a little further - I think 10,000 mile oil change intervals are wrong, at least with commonly-available available US API rated oil, as evidenced by thousands of dealer-maintained cars across many brands who have horrendous sludge buildup and near-dead engines by 100k...
I almost guarantee you it's not because the silicone coupler is collapsing - those are used on builds with 600+ horsepower, though they do start to become problematic after that mostly because it's hard to get them to stay connected under boost.
The absolute most common problem with aftermarket...
