For me the biggest concern is if this will cause harm to the transmission long term. I’m willing to wait for a fix but longevity concerns me. Hopefully there is a fix before winter.
The front windows are laminated glass the back are tempered. Not sure that has anything to do with acoustic, but it explains why you see layers on the front windows.

My front passenger window cracked on my premium plus and there were not different part numbers for that and luxury. Seems like they all use the same glass.
If it’s nuluxe, it’ll hold up to most everything. I had light beige Toyota version in my highlander I traded in. After three years of kicking seats, food spills, crumbs, vomit, etc with two young kids it still looked like new. Way easier to clean and maintain than leather.
